A Board of Trustees govern the Broward County Optometric Association.
The Board of Trustees consists of trustees plus these officers:
- President
- Vice-President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Immediate Past President
It is empowered to conduct BCOA business and meets every month to:
- Transact BCOA business.
- Establish BCOA policy.
In addition, BCOA Adjunct Board members advise the BCOA Board of Trustees at these monthly meetings. The adjunct members consist of a Florida Optometric Association representative and a NOVA College of Optometry Student representative.
