Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH)
VOSH has 32 chapters and 17 student chapters in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Honduras, India, Africa and the Netherlands. VOSH Florida was founded in 1995 by several Florida-based members of VOSH-International.

VOSH Florida's mission is to provide better sight to those communities in the world which have little or no access to vision improvement due to social, economic or geographic reasons. VOSH provides complete professional examinations, diagnosis and prescription eyeglasses. All VOSH services are free, and no person is denied services because of social, religious or political reasons. Florida VOSH members together with students from SVOSH -- the student organization at NOVA Southeastern University -- travel to foreign countries to provide services.

All VOSH team members are volunteers, provide their own way to the destination, and cover all their own personal expenses while on the mission.
